About Me Blog? Credits

Hi! I mostly go by G online. I am play a moron on the internet.
I hope my interests are mostly apparent from the sections on the website: I'm pretty big on video games (recent faves include Helldivers II and Garry's Mod), movies (love The Thing), just about everything automotive (plus a few aviation odds and ends), YouTube, tiki/tropical-feel content, making art, and of course old web stuff. There's plenty of other topics besides, like pinball, but I'll save you the worst of the yawp. This is an about-me, not a tell-all book.

I partly made this page at the behest of my buddy VHS. You can blame him for these promises. He has recently cut down on his social media presence & doubled down on updating his website, and all but insisted I create this page. I'm not gonna promise that I'll achieve everything I'm selling here, but shoot if I'm not gonna dream.
The other core reason that I created this page is that I've always felt like my interests have been disgustingly unfocused and scattergunned all over the joint. I believe that I have trouble investing more deeply in any one thing because of how broadly spread I am; I'm hoping that this website will help me wrangle them all into line, or at least make me invest my time in each a bit more evenly.
Lastly, I'm also hoping that a little dabbling in HTML will help me back into coding on a semi-regular basis. I've been in and out on it for years now, but few things motivate a man to pick up skills like a big elaborate project that his friends put him up to. And vanity projects.
