Hello and welcome to TropicNet! This is your yet-to-be island destination place-to-be, not sure how you stumbled in but we're glad to have you.
In brief, I will do my best to provide a home to my scattergunned interests-- anticipate content on games, movies, the automotive world, and maybe even some photography. All this is set to live in a tacky tiki/beach themed environment. If your noggin is tuned to the right station to find this absurdly eclectic mix of material (or at least part of it) appealing then watch this space...


This is a test header. Nothing to see here, for now. Feel free to comment if you have any things you'd like to see up here on the splash page. I know I need more attractive animated graphics for sure!

• Job 1 was setting the baseline for the site's visual style. Now that I've implemented the main fonts, I think the look is off and running (if not perfect yet)... still getting bogged down on making some final tweaks for the navbar styles. To be honest, I'm not deeply in love with the
• Now that the core look for the homepage is managed, next up are all the "spoke" pages-- basically every title you see on the left needs its own actual page to direct to. I'll probably keep them boilerplate for now so I can actually focus on making sure each serves its intended purpose, but they may divert stylistically in future. Currently, the About Me page is functional and linked-- other than that there's not much to see. YET!
• Create Skip visuals for the bar... and for that point, any graphics for the bar...and the bar page.... we'll get there, what is it the kids say, trust the process? I'd like to get icons set up for each subpage too, like a wheel graphic for The Garage, etc.
• I should transpose all my stylistic items to a .css file so that stylistic changes will apply across the board instead of having to manually apply stylistic changes across the board, at least for major UI components like the side navbar. I might thug it out though. We'll see.
